The India ranking 2016
has been released by HRD minister Smriti Irani on Monday at Vigyan Bhawan. According
to sources and reports, this is the first-of-its-kind indigenous ranking
framework for higher education colleges and institutions, which has come out
with a list of top 100 universities and colleges of engineering, management and
pharmacy in the country. Apart from these streams, there are several other
streams that are popular among the students like Commerce, Arts, Design, Fashion,
BCA, Fine Arts, Law, Hotel Management and Education.
Among all these streams,
Commerce has increasingly come to be the most sought after academic stream in
India. Rapid Industrialization and fast growth of the economy sector has opened
up a wide number of avenues and opportunities for the candidates with commerce
background. As the Indian Economy is growing very fast and changing very
rapidly, there is requirement for talented experts who can contribute towards
the growth of Indian Economy.
There are more than 11,000
colleges and 250 universities all across India. The Commerce field mainly
consists of Finance, Accounting, E-Commerce, Economics and Business

Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi was established in 1920 and started undergraduate
degrees in 1932 and graduate degrees in 1948. SRCC is one of the first Commerce

1999, called the Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business Operations.
