NEET 2016 Counseling: Everything You Need To Know


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ) results on the official website on August 16 (Tuesday). The counseling of NEET 2016 will be conducted in two rounds and it will be in online mode. The counseling will be start from August 22 to August 25, 2016 by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). NEET 2016 counseling will be conducted for approximately 3500 MBBS and BDS seats.
The Minimum Qualifying Criteria Of NEET-UG 2016 for All Categories Are As Follows:
Others: Marks Range 685-145 / Qualifying Criteria - 50th / Percentile No. of Candidates - 5171329
OBC: Marks Range 678-118 / Qualifying Criteria - 40th Percentile / Percentile No. of Candidates 175226
Scheduled Castes: Marks Range 595-118 / Qualifying Criteria: 40th Percentile / Percentile No. of Candidates: 47183
Scheduled Tribes: Marks Range 599-118 / Qualifying Criteria: 40th Percentile / Percentile No. of Candidates: 15710
UR & PH: Marks Range: 474-131 / Qualifying Criteria: 45th Percentile / Percentile No. of Candidates: 437
OBC & PH: Marks Range:510-118 / Qualifying Criteria: 40th Percentile / Percentile No. of Candidates: 597
SC & PH: Marks Range: 415-118 / Qualifying Criteria: 40th Percentile / Percentile No. of Candidates: 143

Counseling Procedure:
The candidates have to register themselves to the NEET 2016 on the counselling portal.
After registering yourself, fill the choices. The candidate can fill as many options as they wish during online choice filling. However, choices should be in order of candidates’ preference.
Once choice is filled in, it can be modified before locking it.
During the choice locking period, it is necessary to lock the choices to get a print of your submitted options. If candidate does not lock the choice submitted by him/her, it will be automatically locked at 5 pm of last date of choice locking.
























Documents Required At The Time Of Joining:
Admit cards of exam issued by the CBSE
Result/ rank letter issued by CBSE
Date of birth certificate (if Metric certificate does not bear the same)
Class 10th Certificate
Class 10+2 Certificate
Class 10+2 Marks Sheet
Provisional allotment letter generated on-line.
Proof of identity
Eight (8) Passport size photograph same as affixed on the application
form
The candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable:
(a) SC/ST, OBC, orthopedic physical disability certificate issued by the competent authority.

NEET Phase 2 Online Registration Starts-Apply Now





National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) is in the news for a considerable time now. It is now One Entrance Test for All Medical/Dental Dean and Private Universities as per the Supreme Court Order. A large number of students want to give this medical examination and they are breathlessly waiting for the NEET phase II registration-2016. This year NEET is coming with lot of controversies. Supreme Court decision is pending. Whatever decision is, it is better to apply for NEET phase 2.

NEET came into news on 28 April, when Supreme Court gave a decision putting NEET only one exam to get admission into MBBS and BDS courses. The first phase of NEET was held at May 1, 2016.

Application submission dates: 26.05.2016 to 21.06.2016

Last date for fee payment: 25.06.2016

Students who had already applied for NEET I they are not eligible for NEET Phase II round. If in case any student was absent in NEET Phase 1 examination they are also not eligible. Fresh students are eligible for NEET Phase 2.
