CMAT 2017: Know All Details Here


Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2017 is a National Level Entrance Exam, conducted by All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE). AICTE has released notification for CMAT 2017 on October 5, 2016. It is an online computer based exam which will be held on two days, on January 28 and 29, 2017.
Last year, AICTE were decided to conduct the test only one day for an academic year and this year, it has decided to conduct the test on two days. Other than this, no changes has been made to this exam.
The test is for those candidates who are interested in various management courses offered by top management institutes in India. Any Indian’s citizen having Bachelor’s degree can apply for this exam. On the basis of CMAT 2017 score, candidate would be able to take admission into several post graduate management courses in over 400 B-Schools of India.

CMAT 2017- Registration Process
CMAT 2017 registration process will be start from October 10, 2016 and last date to register the form is December 10, 2016.
Registration will be invited through online application process.
The candidates must fill and submit the form only after ensuring that they fulfill all eligibility criteria.
Eligibility Criteria For CMAT 2017
AICTE has defined the eligibility criteria for the exam, which must be satisfied by all the aspirants taking this test. They must be ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria, before fulfilling the form. Non-fulfillment of the eligibility criteria may lead to cancellation of the form.
The eligibility conditions are as follows:
The candidate should be an Indian citizen and can apply for the test irrespective of his or her age.
He/she must have a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute.
Also, final year pursuing students of Graduate courses whose result will be declared before commencement of admissions for the academic year 2017-18 are also eligible to apply.

CMAT 2017: Application Fee

The aspirants will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee while filling the application form. This fee can be paid online via Credit Card/Debit Card/Net banking or by depositing cash at any SBI Bank branch in India against the online generated challan. The amount of the application fee is as follow –
  • For General category candidates – Rs. 1400/- + Bank Charges
  • For Reserved category candidates – Rs. 700/- + Bank Charges
Test Pattern For CMAT 2017
It is a computer based test. The questions asked in the exam are objective types and 180 minutes are available to attempt the 100 MCQs’. There will be 4 marks for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

It is a 400 marks paper. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for every wrong answer. 3 hours will be given to each student to complete the test.
