The wait is finally over
now for all those aspirants who appeared for joint entrance examination and are
eagerly waiting for their result which is announced by CBSE (Central Board Of
Secondary Education) on 27 April 2016 at official website jeemain.nic.in. It is
good news for all those candidates who applied and appeared for JEE.
About 12 lac candidates
applied for JEE Main offline paper I and paper II exam was conducted on April 3
and online exam on April 9, 10 across 2000 centers in India. Considering the wide
number of students who had applied for the JEE exam there will be a lot of rush
on the website so you are advised to check your result as early as possible. Admission
into diverse NITs, IIITs and other allied institutes will be based on this
year’s JEE Main scores. Only top 2 lac students who will be able to clear JEE
Main is eligible to appear for final JEE Advanced Examination which will take
place on May 23, 2016 across diverse centers. The registration for JEE Advanced
will begin from the April 29th.
Details
of JEE Main 2016:
Paper 1: It was all about
objective type questions for the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Paper 2: It was all about
Mathematics section, Aptitude Test, and Drawing Test.
JEE Main exam was of total
360 marks and each section (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) carrying equal 120
marks. The total number of questions was 90 divided equally in each subject.
There was negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong response. No marks will be
given for un-attempted questions.

of topper students:
As the JEE Mains results
were declared in the late evening today, so coaching institutes are compiling
the figures of student selections in JEE Mains results. Most of the coaching
institutes have informed about the initial trends and results. The final
counting of selections from the coaching capital revealed that Kota students
have once again led the pack. Resonance coaching institute in Kota had many
reasons to cheer as its one of students Utkarsh Gupta, who has scored 335 out
of 360 scores, is likely to be the topper from Rajasthan in IIT JEE 2016. Utkarsh
has scored 120 out of out 120 in the Mathematics paper. He further informed
that state second topper Sidhant Kar who has scored 327 out of 360 marks - is
also from his institute.
Brajesh Maheshwari of
Allen Career Institute, Kota, told that six of their institute's students have
scored full marks (120/120) in Mathematics paper which is a big achievement.
